Defenders of Liberty

At The Run of Hope Liberty Torch Relay, we proudly honor some of America’s most respected military leaders as Honorary Liberty Torchbearers.

33 have confirmed, with more to be announced.

These men and women, retired and active, embody humility, courage, dedication, and sacrifice. They represent the very best of leadership and service, setting the standard for this historic relay.

We are honored that these defenders of liberty will carry the Liberty Torch in The World’s Most Patriotic Relay.
