The Run of Hope Liberty Torch Relay Route

The Run of Hope Liberty Torch Relay was envisioned by its Founder, Mark 7, in 2000. The route was designed to trace the shape of the American flag across the map of the United States.

As we celebrate 250 years of liberty, The Run of Hope Liberty Torch Relay honors the sacrifices and values that have defined this great nation’s history.

  • 77 Cities connected through a route shaped like the American flag.
  • Over 250 days, participants will carry The World’s Most Powerful Torch.

  • Each VIP Liberty Torchbearer will carry The Liberty Torch for 250 meters (a symbolic nod to the 250th anniversary) but have the option to run up to 25.0 miles (another symbolic nod to the 250th anniversary) to support other VIP Liberty Torchbearers. 

As we honor 250 years of freedom, it’s essential to reflect on the sacrifices made and the values upheld throughout history. The Liberty Torch Relay serves as a powerful tribute to this legacy, connecting communities across the nation and around the world in a shared celebration of liberty and unity.
