THE FLEET OF FREEDOM

Liberty in Motion.

The Fleet of Freedom began in Plymouth, England, where British motorcyclists carried the Union Jack and Stars and Stripes in support of the Run of Hope Liberty Torch Relay.

It was the first glimpse of a vision that will now cross America.

Runners and walkers will carry the Liberty Torch through all 77 cities.
The Fleet of Freedom will escort the Torch from city to city, creating a historic relay.
From motorcycles, muscle cars, supercars, trucks, and iconic vehicles to aircraft, the Torch will travel by land and sky, inspiring every community it reaches.
The Fleet of Freedom is a moving celebration of freedom, liberty, and the American Dream.

Carrying The Torch Beyond 250 Years of Freedom

250 Metres | 25.0 Miles | 250 Days

 In 2026, America marks 250 years of freedom.

In 2027, we carry it forward.

The Run of Hope Liberty Torch Relay is more than a celebration of history. It is a commitment to the future. A movement built to carry freedom, liberty and unity into the next 250 years.

Across 77 cities, over 250 days, along a route shaped like the American flag, the Liberty Torch will travel coast to coast, uniting communities in a shared declaration of freedom, unity, and hope.

Each VIP Liberty Torchbearer will carry the torch for 250 metres as a symbolic tribute to 250 years of liberty. After passing the torch, participants will continue at the pace set by the torchbearer. If the torchbearer walks, the group walks. If the torchbearer jogs, the group jogs. After passing the torch, participants can choose any distance, whether 1 mile, a 5K, a 10K, or up to the full 25-mile route, carrying the spirit of freedom forward.

This is more than a relay.

It is a living tribute to the sacrifices made, the values upheld, and the responsibility we now share.

The flame does not end at 250 years.

It continues.
